Our colleagues from the Group for Cardiovascular Physiology, Zoran Miloradović, PhD, Milan Ivanov, PhD, and Danijela Karanović, PhD, participated in the Sixth International Congress of Cardionephricology – Karnef 2023 and the First International Symposium on Arterial Hypertension, which was held in Pirot from May 28 to 31, 2023. .
The Institute for Medical Research of the University of Belgrade, an Institute of national importance for the Republic of Serbia, was the co-organizer of this congress. Dr. Miloradović presided over the session: “Experimental cardionephrology” in which he also held a lecture by invitation.
Dr. Ivanov chaired the session: “New therapeutics and nutritional aspects in patients with cardiorenal diseases”, held a workshop for young researchers and presented the research results in a poster presentation.
Dr. Karanović presented the research results in a poster presentation. Associates made successful contacts with colleagues from Slovakia and Italy with the aim of establishing future joint research in the field of cardiovascular and renal pathophysiology.
