The Group for Medical Entomology at the Institute for Medical Research announces that participant enrollment for the TalkToTick project has officially concluded.
Over the past two years, 202 participants contributed to this research effort by providing samples and accompanying data for advancing our scientific analyses.
In the project’s final year, the team will conduct a comprehensive examination of the collected material, encompassing molecular, epidemiological, and entomological analyses. The findings are expected to deepen our understanding of tick-borne pathogen circulation across Serbia and strengthen future risk-assessment models and prevention strategies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their trust, collaboration, and commitment, which is the foundation of generating reliable, representative, and scientifically meaningful results.
