The Institute for Medical Research presented M2BoostHEM at “LAB2MARKET – Partnership between Science and Industry,” organized by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia and held on May 14 at the Science and Technology Park Belgrade.
As part of the interactive showcase, Dr. Ivana Drvenica presented the M2BoostHEM development platform for hemoglobin stabilization and improved iron bioavailability. The platform is based on a standardized process designed to deliver predictable performance across different formulations.
The approach developed within the project is focused on creating a functional ingredient suitable for further industrial application, with potential uses ranging from direct oral administration to dietary supplements and pharmaco-nutritional formulations for the prevention and treatment of anemia.
Participation in LAB2MARKET provided an opportunity to present the research results through the lens of real-world application and to further support stronger links between the scientific community and industry in developing innovative solutions based on local expertise.
