Researchers from the Group for Nutrition and Metabolism at the Institute for Medical Research took part in the international COST event “Prague 3 COST 2026 – Cultivating Connections: Interdisciplinary Insights from Recrop, Diversicrop and Pangeos,” held from May 4 to 7, 2026, in Prague, as part of the COST Action DIVERSICROP.

The program brought together researchers working on underutilized crops, sustainable food systems, and their relevance for nutrition and health. Dr. Marija Knez, Dr. Jelena Milešević, and Dr. Suzana Pavlović participated in working meetings, discussions, and activities focused on the further development of the DIVERSICROP COST Action and the planning of future collaboration, while PhD candidate Bogdana Simonović delivered a flash talk presentation.

The scientific program included one oral presentation and five poster presentations, developed through collaboration among researchers from several working groups and institutions. The program also featured an overview of review papers emerging from the DIVERSICROP COST Action, produced through broad international collaboration among more than 20 co-authors from different European countries. This work further highlights the role of the network in connecting research capacities and supporting joint scientific activities across Europe.
