At the final Scientific Committee meeting of the Institute for Medical Research, held on December 27, the Institute presented its annual awards, recognizing outstanding contributions by its researchers.
This year’s “Dr. Vera and Dr. Dušan Kentera” Award for the best research by a young scientist was given to doctoral student Teodora Dragojević from the Group for Molecular Oncology. She is the first author of a high-impact paper published in an internationally acclaimed journal (M21a).
The “Dr. Jovan Vučo” Award for the best and most-cited research paper by a Research Group went to Dr. Vesna Vučić, Dr. Danijela Ristić-Medić, Dr. Aleksandra Arsić, Dr. Snježana Petrović, and Dr. Biljana Pokimica from the Group for Nutritional Biochemistry and Dietology.
These awards reflect the Institute’s commitment to fostering scientific excellence and supporting research of the highest quality.
