This is how we create space for science that shapes the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The event also featured speeches by Vuka\u0161in Grozdi\u0107, the State Secretary of the Ministry of Science, Technological Development, and Innovation of the Republic of Serbia; Prof. Dr. Vladan \u0110oki\u0107, Rector of the University of Belgrade; and Prof. Dr. Neboj\u0161a Lali\u0107, the General Secretary of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dr. Sne\u017eana Tomanovi\u0107<\/strong>, Assistant Director for Science and Research, presented three certificates of appreciation for outstanding contributions to the Institute\u2019s work. The recipients were Milica Zlatkovi\u0107 for her dedication to caring for experimental animals, Jelena Risti\u0107 for her role in managing the financial and accounting department, and Dr. Marijana Kova\u010di\u0107 for her implementation of protocols on the safe disposal of medical and biological waste in her role as the Institute\u2019s Chemical Safety Advisor.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. \u0110ur\u0111ica Jovovi\u0107, President of the Institute\u2019s Scientific Committee, and Prof. Dr. Ljiljana Gojkovi\u0107 Bukarica, Chair of the Institute\u2019s Board, were recognized for their leadership and vision, which left a distinctive mark on this year\u2019s celebration.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Founded in 1947<\/strong> by the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts, the Institute was established to advance medical science and contribute to public health.
